Group i-dle (아이들) MIYEON sings about obsessive and mad love.
MIYEON today (28) at 6 p.m. will release the pre-release track "Reno (Feat. Colde)" and its music video from her second mini album "MY, Lover", marking the start of her full-scale comeback activities.
"Reno (Feat. Colde)" is a song that depicts the moment love turns into obsession and races toward catastrophe, with MIYEON's colorful vocals added over a minor electric guitar loop and a heavy beat. Colde, who has attracted attention for his distinctive tone, participated as a featuring artist, and the two artists' worlds intersect to complete the song's peculiar tension.
The music video presents a sensuous visual like watching a western noir. In particular, MIYEON's varied facial acting as someone who has fallen into mad love added visual immersion. Actor Cha Woo-min, who has appeared in various works including the Netflix film Love Untangled and the drama "Weak Hero Class 1", co-stars as the lover role.
Earlier, the agency CUBE Entertainment on the 27th and 28th raised expectations for the track and music video by consecutively releasing "Reno (Feat. Colde)" concept photos through i-dle's (MIYEON, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) official SNS channels.
In the concept photos, the two sides of love were expressed through styling and atmospheres that starkly contrasted. MIYEON first conveyed dreamy and wistful feelings in a space where snowflakes scatter, then sat on a car hood in a black suit and revealed intense charisma with a chic gaze.
After the pre-release track "Reno (Feat. Colde)", MIYEON will release mini album 2 "MY, Lover" on Nov. 3 at 6 p.m., consisting of seven tracks including the title track "Say My Name" as well as "Reno (Feat. Colde)", "F.F.L.Y", "Space Invader", "You And No One Else", "Petal Shower", and "Show".
