Saxophonist SAX MACHINE presented sensuous music.
SAX MACHINE released its first full-length album SAX TAPE on various global music platforms at midnight on the 27th.
SAX TAPE is an album produced based on inspiration from Irish rock band U2's Sphere concert in Las Vegas and the Joshua Tree desert in California, U.S. SAX MACHINE built an original sound using wind, bird, and sand friction sounds he recorded himself.
The album includes a total of eight diverse tracks, including the title song "Natural," "Do It (Feat. YELLOW 黃宣)," "Lus-an (Feat. ABUS 阿布絲塔娜比瑪)," "Sapphire," "Rise," "Pull Up," "Daan Forest," and "I CAN SHOW YOU (Feat. Jason Lee & Mitty)."
In particular, saxophonist Jason Lee of Korean hip-hop label 8BallTown and several Taiwanese artists participated to raise the album's completeness. Also, when composing this album, SAX MACHINE was especially influenced by the band sound used in the collaboration project "AAA" between Sunset Rollercoaster and the band Hyukoh during Sunset Rollercoaster's activities.
SAX MACHINE is a persona containing another self of Sunset Rollercoaster member Hao-Ting Huang. He plans to present personal journeys and a futuristic aesthetic through his music.
SAX MACHINE said, "While preparing this album I really felt like I became a machine," and noted, "Among the tracks, 'Pull Up' was my biggest challenge. The intense electronic beat was new to me, so I had to break away from all my comforts."
