Singer Eun Ga-eun announced she is pregnant six months after marrying and shared her own reaction.
On the 28th Eun Ga-eun posted a handwritten letter on her personal social media saying, "I often wrote handwritten letters when I got married too, but I pick up the pen with a trembling heart."
That day Eun Ga-eun announced her pregnancy, saying, "In April of this year I met and married the man I love, Park Hyun-ho, and while I was so happy receiving so much love and blessings, an angel baby came to us."
She continued, "I wanted to be the first to tell everyone who celebrated every moment with Eun Ga-eun—when she sang, when she dated, when she married—'I'm having a baby!' but because this is the first precious life our couple is welcoming, I thought we should prepare more surely and carefully and then let you know properly," and added, "So I end up sharing the news in this pretty autumn when the leaves fall^^," explaining the delayed announcement.
Eun Ga-eun vowed, "At the thought of becoming mom and dad, I'm excited and nervous about what to start with, and I'm spending happy days with the child growing day by day in my belly. Everything is new for the two of us, but since our precious and beautiful baby has come to us, we will prepare well and become good parents."
She added, "Now the story of three people—please give us warm support and blessings. Thank you and thank you again. The weather has gotten very cold; be careful of colds^^."
Comedian Shim Jin-hwa reacted, "Kyaa Ga-eun, congratulations so so much♥ How pretty will the baby be? I already want to see them," and singer Song Ha-ye wrote, "Wow unnie…ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ," expressing her emotion. Her husband Park Hyun-ho also left a comment saying, "Thank you♥," showing his affection.
Meanwhile, Eun Ga-eun debuted as a ballad singer in 2013, appeared on TV CHOSUN's Tomorrow's Miss Trot 2 in 2020 and finished in seventh place, and is currently active as a DJ on KBS2 radio Eun Ga-eun's Shining Trot.
