Dynamite Kiss Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin's chemistry explodes.
Nov. 12 at 9 p.m., the new SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama Dynamite Kiss (written by Ha Yoon-a and Tae Kyung-min; directed by Kim Jae-hyun and Kim Hyun-woo; produced by Studio S and Samhwa Networks) is a mutual, aching romance between a single woman who disguises herself as a mother to make a living and the Head of Team who falls in love with her. Through a thrilling, intense dopamine-exploding romance that starts with a kiss, it heralds the revival of an SBS weekday romance drama phenomenon.
Dynamite Kiss is creating buzz in 2025 as the romantic meeting of two hot actors, Jang Ki-yong (playing Gong Ji-hyeok) and Ahn Eun-jin (playing Go Da-rim). Each actor is charming on their own, and because both are starring opposite each other in a romantic comedy that best showcases their appeal, public interest is high. Ahead of the premiere of Dynamite Kiss, the two actors raised expectations for the drama by announcing the birth of a chemistry-filled couple through couple pictorials released before the first broadcast.
In the couple pictorial released Oct. 28 by Elle, Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin display a sweet, lovable chemistry reminiscent of the romance their characters will show, catching the eye. Simply pressing their faces together lightly and smiling makes viewers' hearts pound with excitement. Their dazzling visuals and matching smiles are so lovely that viewers can't look away, prompting admiration that their "art style matches perfectly."
Their chemistry also shone in the interview conducted alongside the pictorial. Jang Ki-yong said, "Ahn Eun-jin has a bright personality and laughs easily. When she walks onto the set with positive energy, the atmosphere immediately changes. She's that kind of good person," and added, "This work highlights Ahn Eun-jin's beauty," expressing his affection.
Ahn Eun-jin also said, "From the start, Jang Ki-yong existed as Gong Ji-hyeok Team Leader himself, so it was easy to immerse myself. You can tell he is truly considerate and delicate, and that comes through in his acting. He watches what his partner does and reacts sensitively, creating a natural rhythm between them," and added, "He looked at Da-rim with love in his eyes, which allowed me to deliver an even more lovable performance."
The Elle couple pictorial made viewers fall once for Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin's dazzling visuals and again for their sweet, lovey-dovey chemistry. That chemistry will also be fully reflected in the love story between the two in the Dynamite Kiss drama.
