BTS, which has completed military service, is said to be planning to release a new album next year and go on a world tour spanning 65 dates.
On the 26th, local time, Bloomberg, citing a source, said BTS is planning 65 shows around the world next year. More than 30 of the shows are expected to take place in North America.
The new album is reportedly set for release in late March next year. BTS completed discharge for all members in June, with Suga as the last. Since then, they have been devoted to working on a new album with HYBE.
The last show where all seven BTS members stood together was in Las Vegas in April 2022. The revenue at the time reached $18 million (about 25.8 billion won).
According to the U.S. concert trade magazine Pollstar, BTS generated about $300 million (about 430 billion won) in revenue from performances between 2015 and 2022. However, it is known that the actual number of BTS shows is far higher than what Pollstar tracked.
Big Hit Music, BTS's agency, said of the Bloomberg report, "The new world tour's schedule and scale have not been decided yet."
