'Gen Z美' group KiiiKiii (KiiiKiii: Jiyu, Lee Sol, Sui, Ha-eum, Kiya) proved their presence in short-form content.
KiiiKiii attended the TikTok Awards 2025 at Hwajeong Gymnasium, Korea University in Seongbuk District, Seoul, on the 25th, claiming the New Rising Artist award and solidifying their position as the next-generation trendsetter leading global short-form content beyond music.
At the event, KiiiKiii performed their debut song I DO ME and their new song DANCING ALONE, released last August, and added energy to the venue with solid live vocals and performances filled with free-spirited energy.
Through their agency Starship Entertainment, KiiiKiii said, "TikTok is an app we frequently used before debuting, so it is such an honor and I am grateful to receive the New Rising Artist award at the TikTok Awards as artists. From our debut song I DO ME to our recent DANCING ALONE, we believe it is thanks to Tiki (the official fan club name) and many others who have loved our music and used it in their content."
They added that they feel the fun and happiness content brings by watching short-form videos and filming themselves, and they will continue to work to deliver KiiiKiii's music and joy to more people through various videos.
KiiiKiii debuted in the music scene in March with their first EP album UNCUT GEM and with the title track I DO ME they won first place on MBC's Show! Music Core just 13 days after their official debut. They drew attention by releasing the "I DO ME" challenge with K-pop artists, actors and creators on the global short-form platform TikTok, and they stamped their presence by interacting with fans and the public through various content such as the 'Kiii box' event using merchandise.
In July, they uploaded a surprise dance challenge video for the upcoming digital single DANCING ALONE, pre-releasing the point choreography and a portion of the track to attract attention, and after the release they continued challenges featuring entertainment industry stars and creators, fueling comeback enthusiasm.
Recently, they shared lively behind-the-scenes moments full of 'Gen Z美' from university festivals, award ceremonies and various domestic and international festival venues with witty short-form content that showcased the members' chemistry, and winning the New Rising Artist award at the TikTok Awards 2025 added further significance.
KiiiKiii is also rolling out various original content on official social media channels, such as KiiKipangpang, TikiTaka and Kiiiword, projecting their signature cheerfulness and free-spirited energy. Expectations are growing for KiiiKiii's future content activities as leaders who will shape global trends.
