The country's only integrated drama awards ceremony, '2025 SEOULCON APAN STAR AWARDS(2025 Seoulcon Apan Star Awards)', returns this December.
The 2025 SEOULCON APAN STAR AWARDS, hosted by the Korea Entertainment Management Association and Seoul Business Agency and organized by Wooritem Modern Village Co., Ltd. and Guardians Company Co., Ltd., will be held on Dec. 29 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) Art Hall 1 in Seoul.
APAN STAR AWARDS is the country's only integrated drama awards ceremony covering all channels, including terrestrial, general programming, cable, OTT and web drama. Since its launch in 2012, it has continued its tradition for about 11 years, expanding exchanges with K-drama fans around the world and invigorating the industry. This year, the plan is to present the largest festival of drama awards with even more differentiated and abundant attractions.
The 2025 SEOULCON APAN STAR AWARDS covers all Korean drama content broadcast from Nov. 2024 through Oct. 2025 on terrestrial, general programming, cable, OTT and web drama. This year, with many works gaining both artistic merit and public attention worldwide, artists representing K-drama are expected to gather and fiercely compete for awards in each category.
Winners will be carefully reviewed by judges representing each field, including directors, writers, reporters and popular culture critics. APAN STAR AWARDS has elevated its authority and reputation through fair judging that has broken down barriers between channels and genres. Attention is also focused on the nominees for works and individuals who may be selected under evaluations free of prejudice and discrimination.
Past grand prize winners include acclaimed actors such as Son Hyun-joo (1st), Song Hye-kyo (2nd), Jo In-sung (3rd), Kim Soo-hyun (4th), Song Joong-ki (5th), Lee Byung-hun (6th), Hyun Bin (7th), Song Joong-ki (8th) and Lee Junho (9th). At last year's 10th SEOULCON APAN STAR AWARDS, Kim Tae-ri received the grand prize.
Meanwhile, this year's SEOULCON APAN STAR AWARDS will be held on Dec. 29 at DDP Art Hall 1 in Seoul and will be broadcast live on tvN.
