On the 26th episode of the SBS variety show My Little Old Boy, Lee Seung-chul shared his happy news, saying, "There is a tremendous celebration. My eldest daughter is getting married."
He revealed a touching story, saying, "I have two daughters; the eldest is 34. She is the daughter I first met in the third year of middle school, a child born from the heart."
Lee Seung-chul said he is preparing the wedding together with his daughter, boasting, "I look at the dress with my daughter more than the mother does. We also have the son-in-law's suit made together and even chose the tableware."
He even edited the entrance music himself, saying, "I planned it from beginning to end," which surprised everyone.
Jannabi and Lee Mu-jin will perform the celebratory songs at the wedding, and Kim Seong-ju will host. In the second part, a special performance by the "Lee Seung-chul Band" is prepared, making it truly a "wedding made by dad."
About his future son-in-law, Lee Seung-chul smiled proudly and said, "He is 188cm tall. His limbs are at mannequin level, and his fit is better than a model's." He continued to boast that "he works at a law firm and studied management research at KAIST."
To this, Shin Dong-yup said, "Even without asking, that's already a boast," provoking uproarious laughter.
He especially showed boundless affection for his future son-in-law, saying, "My son-in-law has a vibe similar to Park Bo-gum. He is tall and has a gentle manner." When asked, "Who would you call to the concert, Park Bo-gum or your son-in-law?" he elicited laughter with a witty reply: "Of course Park Bo-gum would come. My son-in-law will probably come to watch."
