Forest Media Co. (Forest Media) and the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to promote international cultural exchange.
On the 24th, at a signing ceremony held at Forest Media's headquarters in Yeonhui-dong, Seoul, representatives from both organizations discussed cooperation measures to build a global cultural network and develop the content industry.
Through this MOU, both parties will pool their efforts to use their respective expertise and infrastructure to ▲promote various projects to revitalize international cultural exchange ▲operate cultural and artistic content exchanges and jointly planned projects ▲establish information exchange and mutual cooperation systems to expand overseas cultural networks.
A Forest Media representative said, "Through this agreement, we will work with the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange to develop concrete cooperation models for the global spread of Korean culture," and added, "We will expand practical international cooperation through cultural exchange with various countries."
A Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange representative also said, "We expect cooperation with Forest Media to inject new vitality into the international exchange of Korean cultural content."
Meanwhile, Forest Media is a multitainer company expanding into the global cultural business sector, planning and producing a wide range of genres including music, video and performances, and is preparing to launch a large-scale music variety program later this year to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the normalization of Korea-Japan relations.
