According to local Taiwanese reports, Koo Jun-yeob recently visited the Jinbosan cemetery with Korean acquaintances to keep watch by the late Hsieh Shih-yuan's side. He is known to visit the grave every day without fail, whether it is pouring rain or a heat wave, cleaning the tombstone himself and carefully placing the coffee, bread and noodles his wife liked. When reporters asked, "Do you often dream of your wife?" he briefly replied, "Of course," revealing his aching heart.
Meanwhile, another update delivered after a month added to the sorrow. On the 18th, Koo Jun-yeob attended a private celebration with the family after the late Hsieh Shih-yuan's sister, Hsieh Chieh, received an award as a broadcaster. As usual, he approached his mother-in-law first and gently put his arm around her shoulders, but his noticeably gaunt frame drew attention at a glance.
Since Hsieh Shih-yuan's death, Koo Jun-yeob has barely been able to eat and has lost more than 14kg. He has halted all broadcast activities and stayed in Taiwan, taking direct responsibility for everything from the funeral to the handling of the remains and matters related to the children.
