Davichi member Kang Min-kyung said she was expelled from Kyung Hee University.
On the 26th, a video titled "Ten car meals season 7 — Davichi sisters who lived on car meals for two months" was posted on Kang Min-kyung's channel.
In the video, Kang Min-kyung, while on the way to perform at a Kyung Hee University festival, said, "Kyunghee University is the school that kicked me out." Lee Hae-ri, who was next to her, also shouted, "Expelled."
Kang Min-kyung said, "I attended diligently in my freshman year... Every time I go to Kyunghee University, I feel bitter," and added, "I was on the Suwon campus, but I'll go say hello to my half juniors and come back."
Kang Min-kyung entered Kyunghee University's Suwon campus in the College of Art and Design, Department of Postmodern Music, class of '11, but was expelled due to an extended leave of absence. In 2023, while cheering on test takers, she revealed this fact. At the time, Kang Min-kyung encouraged them by saying, "I don't know if this will comfort you, but your aunt got kicked out of college and only has a high school diploma, and it turned out fine. So for today, just go for spicy tteokbokki and chicken."
