NMIXX promoted their first full-length album with a straightforward focus on music and skill, sweeping the top spots on various charts. NMIXX released their new album Blue Valentine and the title track of the same name on Oct. 13. The new release adds special meaning as NMIXX's first full-length album, following their 2022 debut song O.O, which introduced the "MIXX POP" genre—blending two or more genres in a single song to deliver multiple charms at once, making a strong first impression while building a unique presence through fresh musical colors and explosive skill.
All 12 tracks, spanning diverse genres, boast high completeness and received rave reviews saying the group's unique personality as a "hexagonal girl group" shone, and especially the title track "Blue Valentine" targeted the tastes of the public and K-pop fans, continuing a run of No. 1s. The song reached No. 1 on Melon Top 100 on the afternoon of the 20th, exactly one week after its unveiling, holding the top spot and landing at No. 1 on the daily charts for three days from the 22nd to the 24th. With this, NMIXX achieved their first Melon Top 100 and daily chart No. 1s since debut, accomplishing the best result beyond their career high.
NMIXX took No. 1 on major domestic music streaming charts such as Melon Hot 100 (30th), Hot 100 (100th), Bugs chart, FLO chart, as well as the Circle Chart download chart for week 42 (2025.10.12~2025.10.18) and Hanteo Chart's weekly album chart (2025.10.13~2025.10.19). They also dominated music shows, lifting the No. 1 trophy on MBC M's Show! Champion on the 22nd, Mnet's M Countdown on the 23rd, KBS 2TV's MUSIC BANK on the 24th, MBC's Show! Music Core on the 25th and SBS's Inkigayo on the 26th, achieving five crowns.
