'Running Man' cast member Haha summoned the recently trending "Young-Forty" meme, turning the set into a sea of laughter.
On the episode of the SBS variety show Running Man that aired on the 26th, Haha exploded.
The production team explained that for the mission they had asked the cast to "wear cheap pants on purpose today." In response, Haha protested with an aggrieved expression, "These are expensive pants. I wore the latest trendy expensive running pants."
Yoo Jae-suk mentioned the "Young-Forty (Young+Forty)" meme, saying, "Finally, Haha's time has come. For that Young-Forty..." and Haha immediately pulled out an orange iPhone and struck a pose, causing uproarious laughter.
Then he suddenly roared, "Young-Forty, wake up! Do whatever you want! Supreme? It's been that way since our time! Stussy? It became famous because we wore it well!" making the members laugh.
Continuing the youth-seeking Young-Forty concept, Haha shouted, "All idols, bring it on! You can't live without an Apple phone, right? We live. It's the pager era," immersing himself in the role.
Watching this, Yang Se-chan dissed, "Young-Forty. Someone who acts like you do is Young-Forty. You're acting out," and Yoo Jae-suk added, "You look overwhelmed and a bit pitiful." In response, Haha fired back, "Why am I pitiful? Don't comfort me," eliciting another round of laughter.
Haha's realistically relatable (?) Young-Forty character delivered big laughs to viewers again that day.<
