On the 25th episode of KBS 2TV entertainment show Mr. House Husband season 2 (hereinafter Mr. House Husband), Ji Sang-ryeol invited Shin Bo-ram to his home, creating an atmosphere like a formal meeting of families.
That day, Shin Bo-ram received an invitation from Ji Sang-ryeol's sister-in-law and went to a supermarket to buy a gift. While choosing a gift together, Shin Bo-ram expressed disappointment, saying, "It's hard to contact and hard to meet," and "Men say if they're interested in a woman they can't not contact her, but since there's no contact I thought 'maybe he's not interested in me.'"
In the studio, Eun Ji-won said, "Maybe it's because he didn't want to be a bother," but Lee Yo-won expressed frustration, replying, "That's not consideration. Women don't think that way."
At that moment, Ji Sang-ryeol's sister-in-law finished cooking, tidied his drab room and aired it out. She even covered a framed Dalmado painting with cloth, saying, "I'm afraid Bo-ram will run away if she sees this."
With the bedding also arranged, Ji Sang-ryeol's room took on a brighter atmosphere, and Park Seo-jin wondered, "You're not having her sleep over, so why did you change the bedding?" Lee Yo-won explained, "It felt too much like a widower's room," prompting laughter.
In an interview, Ji Sang-ryeol surprised everyone by revealing, "Because Bo-ram was coming, I probably have body lotion that's seven years old. I threw that away, and the skin lotion had mold. I threw that away too."
After visiting Ji Sang-ryeol's home, Shin Bo-ram greeted the sister-in-law warmly and then started looking around the rooms. While touring, she said, "Everything needed for a home is here, so you don't have to get married," and Ji Sang-ryeol asked, "Is this our engagement party?" Shin Bo-ram shot back, "Why do you say things like that? Saying it like that hurts."
Amid a warm atmosphere, Shin Bo-ram and Ji Sang-ryeol's family began eating. At that time, while looking at a calendar, Shin Bo-ram asked, "How many ancestral rites are there in a year?" The sister-in-law replied, "Don't worry. I'll handle them all. There are 22 ancestral rites a year." Feeling burdened by the remark, Ji Sang-ryeol's older brother intervened, saying, "Why bring up ancestral rites and put pressure on her?"
Especially that day, Ji Sang-ryeol's niece appeared. Earlier, the niece had cried that she hoped Ji Sang-ryeol wouldn't get married. Upon seeing Shin Bo-ram, she immediately reacted, "She's totally my type," drawing attention.
The niece also said Ji Sang-ryeol and Shin Bo-ram looked good together, and when Ji Sang-ryeol said, "She's not my nephew's girlfriend," she agreed and helped the two hold hands. The sister-in-law looked on fondly, saying, "Yoon-a is making this connection."
Going further, the niece asked a blunt question: "Sister, do you agree to date my grandfather?" Shin Bo-ram replied, "Since the princess asked, I don't know how to answer," and added, "Grandfather didn't say anything," tossing the answer. Ji Sang-ryeol revealed, "Grandfather and I have good feelings for each other."
Thanks to the niece, the relationship grew closer and Ji Sang-ryeol couldn't hide his smile, while the niece said, "I'll bring you closer," moved aside to give them space, and declared, "Starting today, it's day one."
But in an interview Shin Bo-ram gave an ambiguous answer, saying, "What should I do? Won't we know about marriage as time passes?"
