Singer Kwon Eun-bi shared an aftermath of 'Waterbomb.'
On the 26th, a video titled 'Honestly, you might be prickly....rumors..' was released on the YouTube channel "Fairy Jaehyung."
In the video, guest Kwon Eun-bi said about solo activities after IZ*ONE activities, "At that time I was in my late 20s, so realistically a group was difficult. Then I had to do solo activities, but I hadn't tried singing alone for 3 minutes, so I needed time to prepare again. For the first time I felt the great burden of singing one song. It can be good because my parts increased, but it wasn't for me."
Kwon Eun-bi reborn brilliantly as a solo artist through 'Waterbomb.' Kwon Eun-bi said, "It was a big event, so I wondered how the offer came to me. Since I hadn't done many events as a solo artist, I thought of it as an opportunity. I wondered how I would fill 30 minutes alone. I included album tracks and the title track to make up the set. It was a very nerve-wracking stage," and said, "There was no time to think about fear over image. The thought of having to fill 30 minutes was bigger. I decided to do my image first and think later."
Kwon Eun-bi said, "I approached it with the mindset of not making mistakes and just showing my stage well. But suddenly I blew up. You really don't know what can happen in life. After Waterbomb, a lot of work came in, I shot many commercials and had many events. Before, I didn't have that much work, but starting from Waterbomb I felt that if I prepared hard and showed myself anywhere, I didn't know when and where such a reaction would come."
Kwon Eun-bi said, "I debuted as a solo artist in 2021, and after about two years of activity I suddenly blew up because of Waterbomb. It was like Cinderella — after spending a dark time, suddenly people recognized me again. Before that people knew IZ*ONE but didn't know Kwon Eun-bi well, so in the year and a half to two years I took on all the work that came. I accepted the overwhelming schedule without thinking of refusing."
