Actor Rowoon revealed his newly cropped hair ahead of his enlistment.
Rowoon posted multiple photos on his social media on the 25th with the caption "It feels refreshing. I'll be back."
The released photos show Rowoon with a very short buzz cut looking into a mirror and spending time at a café, drawing attention.
Earlier, Rowoon had been scheduled to enlist as an active-duty soldier in July, but during the enlistment physical examination conducted by the Military Manpower Administration two weeks before induction for all conscripts, he received a reexamination (grade 7) decision.
Afterward, Rowoon immediately filed an objection to the military conscription decision and underwent a reexamination in early August, and he will enlist as active-duty on the 27th.
The agency asked, "No separate official event will be held to minimize congestion at the site on the day of enlistment," and added, "As this will be a private event attended by a number of service members, fans' visits are prohibited, so we ask for your cooperation."
