[OSEn=Reporter Sun Mi-kyung] The group ATEEZ celebrated its 7th anniversary.
On the 24th, to mark their 7th anniversary ATEEZ held various online and offline events, delighting ATINY (the official fandom name).
At noon that day, the track that had been included on ATEEZ's 2019 mini album "TREASURE EP.2 : Zero To One" and was previously available only on CD, "From (2018)," was unexpectedly released as a digital single. The song was a fan song ATEEZ previewed during their KQ Fellaz trainee days, and when the recording full of "fan love" was released on a special anniversary it drew an outpouring of enthusiastic reactions from global fans.
At 3 p.m., the 7th anniversary special variety program "Living Together 777" was released on the group's official YouTube channel. In the video, which parodied nostalgic variety shows, the members competed fiercely in mini games such as a dance initiation, cushion quizzes and rhythm games, showing off their delightful variety skills and teamwork and prompting laughter.
At 7 p.m. ATEEZ greeted fans with a surprise YouTube live broadcast. Later at 10 p.m., a 7th anniversary interview video was released, and in the footage the members looked back on interviews they gave on their 6th anniversary one year earlier and shared candid stories that brought a moving sense of emotion.
An offline event of unprecedented scale also drew attention. On the 22nd and 23rd a shipboard event called "Anchor, Encore" was held at the Yeouido ferry terminal in Seoul, and fans boarded the anniversary cruise to enjoy a variety of ATEEZ-related content.
On the 23rd, 12 CGV theaters nationwide hosted screenings of a 7th anniversary special compilation concert film, "A TO Z on screen." All showings were sing-along screenings, and fans enjoyed the film while waving the official ATEEZ light stick, LIGHTINY, with limited-edition bonuses given to all attendees to add a special touch.
On the 24th, the anniversary highlight was a lighting event at Namsan Seoul Tower that captured the attention of fans, citizens and tourists alike. At 8 p.m. the Namsan Seoul Tower was lit in the shape of ATEEZ's logo, creating an overwhelming spectacle.
On the same day, "ATEEZ_7thAnniversary_theVoyageContinues" and "A_TO_Z" trended on X (formerly Twitter), once again proving the intense global interest in ATEEZ.
Earlier in July ATEEZ excited global fans by announcing that all eight members had renewed their contracts for seven more years. Based on the trust built over a long time between the agency KQ Entertainment and the members themselves, they achieved a full-group renewal and will continue to travel the world, carrying on their spectacular "golden myth."
