On the 24th broadcast of MBN variety show Jun Hyun-moo's Plan Season 3, Jun Hyun-moo introduced today's eating companion as the "all-day eating project," and Park Kwang-jae and Lee Guk-ju appeared as guests.
That day Park Kwang-jae said, "Actually, I hit my lifelong weight now. I can eat up to 10 ramens," revealing his fierce "big eater" condition and bringing laughter.
In particular, Lee Guk-ju said, "I was in Japan and came to Korea briefly for this shoot because I was craving soup." Lee Guk-ju said, "I walk a lot in Japan, eat only what needs to be filmed, don't drink, and can lose 4 kilograms in ten days," adding, "but when I come to Korea I gain back 6 kilograms," which made people smile.
Jun Hyun-moo said, "We've covered your eating status, so let's move on to catch-up talk. I'm curious why you went to Japan," and asked Lee Guk-ju, "I know it's sudden, but why did you go to Japan?" Earlier, Lee Guk-ju started living alone in a 9-pyeong studio room in Tokyo last April for a new challenge, which became a hot topic.
Lee Guk-ju said, "When I come to Korea, there are people who ask, 'Why are you in Korea?'" and began, "When I'm doing broadcasts, work sometimes decreases and there are times to rest, but I'm not the type to just rest quietly." She said, "I felt I should learn or do something, and even traveling to Japan didn't ease my mind. My work decreased a lot. I thought, 'Shall I try something?' and filmed videos, and the first video did very well."
She continued, "Because of that, work started coming in, and I came to Korea more to work. It became new content." After she started living alone in the 9-pyeong studio room, she received a great response, and Jun Hyun-moo congratulated her, saying, "That became content again."
Lee Guk-ju also said, "I'm forty now, and next year will be 20 years since my debut. I wanted to take on a new challenge. I had a vague thought that if I learned Japanese maybe I could try something. Instead of waiting for work to come, when work is scarce and I'm resting, I came with the idea of trying something."
