Singer WOODZ (WOODZ, Cho Seung-yeon) unexpectedly released the much-talked-about unreleased song "Falling."
WOODZ released the digital single "Falling" on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 24th. Band DAY6 member Young K featured on the track, enhancing its completeness.
"Falling" is a song co-written and composed by WOODZ and Young K, capturing the emotions of a night when worries deepen and sleep won't come. Like a simple greeting of "I hope you sleep well tonight," it is a song that offers warm comfort to listeners. WOODZ's emotional vocal and Young K's soft tone come together to convey a sincere wish that "I hope you feel better," gently wrapping listeners' hearts.
The artists' connection began in 2020 when Young K appeared on a radio program where he worked as a DJ. A few months later, they worked together to complete "Falling," a song that remained unreleased for a long time and was first made available last September on WOODZ's personal SoundCloud.
When the song was first released, fans' enthusiastic reactions were followed by requests for an official release, and after WOODZ completed his military service and the two performed together on KBS "The Seasons – 10CM's Sseudam Sseudam" last month, fans' expectations reached a peak. After the broadcast, reactions such as "a song good to hear in autumn" and "I want to hear this as an official release" poured in, and as fans wished, "Falling" was officially released.
Meanwhile, WOODZ will hold solo concerts titled 2025 WOODZ PREVIEW CONCERT : index_00 at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul on Nov. 29 and 30. WOODZ, who proved his musical prowess with the rebound success of his self-composed song "Drowning" and the chart-topping new song "I'll Never Love Again" released last month, continues active activities through various brand model work and broadcasts.
