'Jun Hyun-moo plan 3' Jun Hyun-moo and KwakTube enjoyed a genuine eating trip in Iksan during the "Jeolla Province small-city special," where they cleared every plate.
On the 24th, the second episode of the full-fledged real street food documentary "Jun Hyun-moo plan 3" aired, revealing the scene where Jun Hyun-moo and KwakTube (Kwak Jun-bin), together with Korea's representative mukbangers Lee Guk-ju and Park Gwang-jae, tore into the eateries of Iksan, a small city in North Jeolla Province they visited as the 63rd street stop. They presented the happiness of culinary discovery and fresh information to viewers by sweeping through Iksan's offerings, from the Iksan "Hwangdeung bibimbap," one of Korea's three great bibimbap, to the city residents' "one pick" kalguksu restaurant and a chicken stew and chicken giblets soup restaurant with 37 years of tradition.
That day, Jun Hyun-moo and KwakTube, who arrived in Iksan, headed to the restaurant that received overwhelming votes in citizen interviews among the "three Hwangdeung bibimbap" choices. The owner, whose restaurant has been passed down for three generations, greeted them warmly while offering a heartwarming remark, "The three Hwangdeung bibimbap restaurants are not rivals but coexistence." Afterwards, after warming up their mukbang with a hot seonji-guk, the two sampled the mixed "Hwangdeung bibimbap," praising it as "number one among bibimbap."
Satisfied from the first meal, the two headed toward Iksan Station to meet "Hororok princess" Lee Guk-ju and the "food vacuum" Park Gwang-jae. Lee Guk-ju, who recently expanded activities to Japan, revealed her weight news, saying, "I came back to Korea briefly because of 'Jun Hyun-moo plan.' If I stay in Japan for about 10 days I lose 4kg, but when I come to Korea I gain 6kg." Jun Hyun-moo led the three to a 45-year-old beloved kalguksu restaurant favored by Iksan residents, and Lee Guk-ju, who personally placed the order, lightly ordered an extra-large kalguksu, a cold noodle in broth as a "side-dish(?)" and bibim naengmyeon, devastating the scene. When Park Gwang-jae timidly asked, "Do you only order one king dumpling?" Jun Hyun-moo pointed out, "You're getting very nervous," showcasing wild eating chemistry.
After ordering, Jun Hyun-moo asked Lee Guk-ju, "Why did you go to Japan?" Lee Guk-ju explained, "There are times when my broadcast work decreases, but I'm not the type to rest quietly. After finishing the kalguksu mukbang neatly, Jun Hyun-moo said, "We ate flour, so let's go replenish protein," and moved to a chicken stew restaurant. Sensing the restaurant's expertise from its signboard, Lee Guk-ju admired it and said, "But I haven't tried chicken giblets. I've tried the comb (gizzard?) though." Jun Hyun-moo replied, "The comb? Leave the comb alone~" which drew laughter. Immediately after, the four greeted the "real flavor" chicken stew that has preserved its taste for 37 years.
