Group TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Yeonjun revealed the visuals for his new release in a unique way in Seoul's Seongsu-dong.
On the afternoon of the 24th, guerrilla posters celebrating the release of Yeonjun's first solo album "NO LABELS: PART 01" appeared around Seongsu-dong. In the poster, Yeonjun is shirtless and freely extending his arms. His flexible movements feel like a scene from performance art. The new release's key color, red, used for the album title and release date, leaves a strong impression and draws the attention of passersby.
In Seongsu-dong, unusual performances related to Yeonjun could also be seen. On the 24th, men carrying giant shopping bags appeared on the street. The shopping bags they carried were stamped with Yeonjun's photo and the phrases "NO LABELS", "PART 01", and "YEONJUN." The human-sized shopping bags were enough to attract pedestrians' attention and spread quickly on social media, becoming a major topic. The mysterious men are scheduled to carry different objects on the 25th and 26th, respectively, and bring another surprise to the streets.
In this way, Yeonjun is drawing attention with unconventional promotion. Instead of releasing concept photos online to promote the new album, he opened the first visuals using offline posters and giant shopping bags. The trendy vibe of Seongsu-dong, the sleek poster design, and the photo of a shirtless Yeonjun combined to attract interest.
On Nov. 5-6, a pre-listening party will be held at Anderson C in Seongsu-dong. This event, held before the record release, will let participants hear the new songs first and share the production process.
Then, "NO LABELS: PART 01," which will be released at 2 p.m. on Nov. 7, is an album that removes modifiers and labels to present Yeonjun himself. The title track "Talk to You" sings of your strong attraction to me and the tension that blossoms within that. Yeonjun participated in writing and composing this song, adding his own color and completing what he calls "Yeonjun core." In addition to the title track, all six songs — "Forever," "Let Me Tell You (feat. Daniela of KATSEYE)," "Do It," "Nothin' Bout Me," and "Coma" — are all specialized for performance, and are expected to showcase his strength as a leading K-pop dancer.
