Shim Hyung-tak and Saya's son Haru had a pleasant time meeting his maternal uncle and maternal great-uncle who came from Japan.
On the YouTube channel "Hyungtak Saya's Haru," a video titled "[2 months old] finally meeting three generations..Haru's first being held" was uploaded on the 24th.
The video revealed footage filmed when Shim Hyung-tak and Saya's son Haru was two months old. Meeting his maternal grandfather, maternal grandmother and maternal uncle for the first time, Haru wore a bewildered expression, and they sent loving looks that created a warm atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Saya's mother and Haru's maternal grandmother said, "It's the first time meeting him," adding, "He has a cute face. He will become a handsome man," and "Thank you for coming," showing her affection for her grandson. Meanwhile, in one corner of the living room, Shim Hyung-tak gave his father-in-law a gift saying, "Korean whiskey," and sounds of them drinking beer together could be heard. Shim Hyung-tak, awkwardly speaking in Japanese, confessed, "I'm drinking for the first time in a month. I wanted to drink with my father-in-law."
Continuing, the maternal grandmother held Haru without rest and showed boundless affection. She said, "Haru, we finally met. Thank you for coming. Thank you for making Saya a mother." With that, Haru fell asleep in his grandmother's arms.
Unfortunately, the maternal great-uncle returned to Japan after a short two-night, three-day visit. Saya said, "Because of work it was a short two-night, three-day time, but the love received during that time was so precious and irreplaceable."
Meanwhile, Shim Hyung-tak registered his marriage in 2022 with Saya, a Japanese woman 18 years his junior, and in 2023 they held wedding ceremonies in both Korea and Japan. The couple welcomed their son Haru in January of this year, and they are currently appearing on KBS 2TV The Return of SUPERMAN.
