"The Seasons-10CM's Ssudam Ssudam" colored Friday night with sentiment and memories.
On the 24th, the KBS 2TV music talk show "The Seasons-10CM's Ssudam Ssudam" featured Lee Chang-seop, Woody, TWS (TWS), and Yozoh, who delivered well-made stages that showcased each of their personalities and charms.
Lee Chang-seop sang "Once More Goodbye," decorating the first stage with a luxurious voice. Lee Chang-seop, loved as a delicate and emotionally compelling vocalist, drew attention by revealing that he was the first balladeer to take the "Waterbomb" stage. He recalled the anecdote of singing a ballad at the scene and receiving a water gun shower from the audience, saying, "I went there intending to wreck the mood. When I really got boos, there was a thrill that I had achieved my goal," and added, "Still, everyone sang along to 'Cheonsangyeon.'"
Having had a busy year that included releasing a full-length album, singles, OSTs, and remakes, appearing in web variety shows, musical theater, writing an essay, a national tour, and an overseas tour, Lee Chang-seop shared empathy with 10CM about vocal cord care. In particular, Lee Chang-seop, who revealed he had previously experienced a vocal cord polyp, said, "Since then I've been singing more safely," described his current condition, and introduced his new mini album and performed the title track "Jureureu," coloring the autumn night.
Woody, who made his first appearance on the KBS late-night music talk show he had admired for 15 years since his debut, said, "I am honored," and introduced himself by saying, "Since the cyber singer Adam, I have been active as a faceless singer," drawing laughter. With his distinctive variety skills, Woody quickly lifted the atmosphere, and when 10CM said his voice was similar to Cho Sae-ho's, he delivered a 100% accurate voice impersonation from Cho Sae-ho's catchphrases to singing Jo Nam-ji-dae's songs, blowing up the venue.
Woody, who was picked by Kim Gun-mo to debut in the boy group Entrain but spent eight years in obscurity after their disbandment, said he considered quitting his singing career due to his father's cancer fight. Woody said, "At the time, I wanted to give up because I felt I couldn't do anything for my father, but Yoon Min-su hyung contacted me," and recounted how he dramatically returned to music. Touched by Woody's candid confession, 10CM offered sincere encouragement, and Woody choked up and showed tears, making the moment even more moving.
TWS presented, for the first time in Korea, a rock version of "Oh Mymy (Oh Mymy: 7s)" performed exclusively for "10CM's Ssudam Ssudam." As 10CM and TWS built a special bond by taking various challenges together, maknae Kyung-min recalled the busy challenge filming at the time and expressed regret, saying, "I wanted to talk more with senior 10CM, but I only said two words." 10CM offered a belated apology, and Kyung-min and Young-jae performed a duet of "Phonsert," showing their unwavering fandom for 10CM.
Ji-hoon performed Park Won's "Effort" with delicate emotion and then said, "Love is really not easy," and revealed, "I recently went through a breakup. In a game I used to enjoy, I was dumped by someone I liked by ghosting," drawing laughter. 10CM ambitiously tried TWS's new song "OVERDRIVE" 'Angtal challenge' but soon sighed deeply, which made the scene burst into laughter. At the end of the recording, 10CM gifted chapssaltteok to Kyung-min, who is preparing for the college entrance exam, and Kyung-min said, "It was an honor to be in the same space with senior today. Thank you," dispelling all his disappointment toward 10CM and creating a warm moment.
Last week, Crying Nut opened the new segment "Indie 30th anniversary project - Life music," which drew attention, and the second featured guest was "Hongdae goddess" Yozoh. Wearing her signature fedora, Yozoh performed instant renditions of hit songs that once defined an era, including phone ringtones, ringback tones, and mini home page background music, stirring memories. Next, Kim Yoon-joo of Rooftop Moonlight, who is also Yozoh's agency representative, sent a message for Yozoh, and Yozoh said, "Since he's the representative, whenever I say something he always says, 'Release an album.' Appearing on a KBS late-night music talk show for the first time in nine years through "10CM's Ssudam Ssudam," Yozoh watched past stage VCRs and soaked in memories. 10CM, who has long regarded Yozoh as a mentor and role model, expressed fandom and said, "As the MC of 'The Seasons,' I hope you can come to this stage as soon as possible with new music." After Kim Yoon-joo and then 10CM expressed their hopes for Yozoh's new release, Yozoh quipped, "Aren't we a married couple? Is this domestic support?" and kept the mood light and cheerful.
