Actor Son Ho-jun addressed reports of a rift with producer Na Young-seok that arose after he did not join Three Meals a Day.
On the 24th, a new video was posted on the YouTube channel Jipyeonhan Sesang titled "Ji Seok-jin... drinking? Why didn't you tell me daytime drinking is this fun?"
That day Ji Seok-jin opened by saying, "Aren't you thinking of doing variety shows? If it's not Three Meals a Day, you won't do it?" and added, "There was controversy. Like, things aren't good with producer Na Young-seok."
In response Son Ho-jun said, "That's not true at all. He contacted me first and asked, 'What do you think, Ho-jun?' So I said I thought it would be really fun for the two hyungs to do it," noting that discussions had been held even before production and that the rift reports were not true.
Son Ho-jun said, "Because there are so many Three Meals a Day fans, some people seemed to feel hurt. Unintentionally, the hyungs called and said, 'We're sorry the article came out like that.'"
Son Ho-jun had previously addressed the rift on a Channel Sibo-ya live broadcast. He said, "I didn't go out there to explain that either. At the time I was doing the play Angels in America, and Hyung Young-seok said, 'Wow, I'll help,' so I promoted it on his live broadcast and that discussion came up, so I talked about it."
At the time Son Ho-jun and producer Na Young-seok explained this on a live broadcast, saying, "There is a reason Son Ho-jun shouldn't appear. If Cha Seung-won, Yoo Hae-jin and So Ho-jun are together, there are actually a lot of things Ho-jun would do. What we thought was that in a situation without Ho-jun they would have to help each other, and the conflicts and reconciliations that come from that would be interesting, so he won't appear."
Son Ho-jun also said, "I actively support the two seniors doing it. There were times when I couldn't come because of my schedule and only the two of them were there. They were having such a good time. I thought it would be good for the two of them to have that time, so I supported it. I'm fine with it," and producer Na Young-seok said, "Next time we'll do it together. Ho-jun is one of our members, but he's not appearing this season, so we'll slightly change the title. Ho-jun is an indispensable presence and a fixed member. This season is a special edition."
Son Ho-jun also expressed gratitude, saying, "When I did the play Killing Caesar this time, Hyung Young-seok was really busy but he watched the play in person, took photos with me and promoted it on his social media."
