Actors Kim Seol-hyun and Jeong So-min have concluded their exclusive contracts with the agency Ieum Hashtag.
On the 24th, Ieum Hashtag said in an official statement, "The exclusive contracts with actors Kim Seol-hyun and Jeong So-min, who have been with us, have come to an end."
The agency added, "We hope the two actors' futures are filled with greater growth and happiness, and please watch over and support the two actors as they shine in their respective places with affection and love," delivering a warm message.
Kim Seol-hyun debuted in 2012 as a member of girl group AOA before switching to acting, building her skills in a variety of works such as the drama My Daughter Seo-young, My Country: The New Age, and The Killer's Shopping List. She strengthened her standing as an actor by appearing on screen in films such as Gangnam 1970, Memoirs of a Murderer, and The Fortress.
Jeong So-min debuted in 2010 with the drama Bad Guy and has worked across a variety of genres in productions such as Because This Is My First Life, Memories of the Alhambra, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Phantom, and Love Next Door. She is currently showcasing romantic comedy chemistry with Choi Woo-shik in the drama Would You Merry Me.
The two actors are expected to seek new agencies and plan their future moves following the end of their exclusive contracts with Ieum Hashtag. For Ieum Hashtag, this follows the departures of Jeon Ji-hyun and Kim So-hyun, with Kim Seol-hyun and Jeong So-min also leaving. Currently Seo Ji-hye and Ahn So-yeon remain.
