The group Close Your Eyes (CLOSE YOUR EYES) announced an unprecedented comeback with a trailer video like a movie.
The agency Uncore released the trailer video for Close Your Eyes (Jeon Min-wook, Majingxiang, Jang Yeo-jun, Kim Seong-min, Song Seung-ho, Kenshin, Seo Kyung-bae)'s third mini album "blackout" on its official SNS at 8 p.m. on the 23rd.
The released video began with a scene of a huge crack forming on a wall with a clock, immediately drawing attention. The number 8 on the clock tilted sideways to form the shape of infinity (∞), and among the members acting nonchalantly—reading books or drinking—Jeon Min-wook, who alone recognized an endlessly repeating time loop, was shown with anxious, trembling eyes, creating an eerie atmosphere.
Then, with the piercing sound of the second hand, Jeon Min-wook's vision staggered and the blackout kept repeating. Confused by the repeated scenes each time he opened his eyes, Jeon Min-wook tried to pull the clock out of the wall, and all the members lined up to help him and succeeded in removing the clock.
After the clock was removed, a deep, dark hole was left in the wall, and beyond the wall the room showed a repeated image of Close Your Eyes similar to moments earlier. At the moment when it was impossible to tell whether I am me or the me beyond the wall, the video ended with cracks filling the room, leaving a strong aftertaste and excitement at the same time.
Close Your Eyes announced a quick comeback with the new mini album "blackout" just four months after releasing the second mini album "Snowy Summer" in July. Earlier, a coming-soon poster featuring a blazing mansion hinted at a concept that is 180 degrees different from the previous work.
Close Your Eyes, which raised global fans' expectations further with a trailer video expressing an infinite blackout in a strange atmosphere, is increasingly anticipated to win fans' hearts with what music and stages the new album will present.
Close Your Eyes' third mini album "blackout" will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on Nov. 11.
