Band Peppertones (PEPPERTONES) member Lee Jang-won will throw the ceremonial first pitch in Game 5 of the playoff, which decides a spot in the Korean Series.
Lee Jang-won will throw the first pitch at 6:30 p.m. today (24) at Daejeon Hanwha Life Ballpark during the "2025 KBO postseason" game between the Hanwha Eagles and the Samsung Lions. With both teams holding two wins and two losses through four games, they will play the final game that determines advancement to the Korean Series.
Known as a long-time fan of the Hanwha Eagles, Lee Jang-won has publicly expressed his affection for the team several times through broadcasts. He also has deep ties with the Hanwha Eagles. As a true fan of the Hanwha Eagles, Lee Jang-won was a regular on the ENA and Channel 15 variety show "Jjinfan Zone," and Peppertones' signature song "Superfantastic" has been used as the cheer song for Hanwha Eagles infielder Shim Woo-jun, maintaining a special connection.
Taking the mound for Game 5, which decides advancement to the Korean Series, Lee Jang-won is expected to create a moving moment with a "Superfantastic" first pitch.
