On the 24th, a production presentation for the Netflix variety show Physical: Asia was held at the Westin Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. At this production presentation, Jam Hong-gi PD attended in person along with Yoon Sung-bin, Kim Min-jae, Amotti, Jang Eun-sil, and Choi Seung-yeon, and Kim Dong-hyun, Okami Yooshin, James Lusamikae, Robert Whittaker, Urkhengbayar Bayarsaikhan, Rejeb KARA, Igetz Executioner and others participated via video to speak.
Physical: Asia is a physical war in which eight countries — Korea, Japan, Thailand, Mongolia, Türkiye, Indonesia, Australia and the Philippines — compete under their national flags, bringing together legendary athletes from various disciplines on a scale reminiscent of a major international tournament. In addition, traditional sport athletes representing their countries, such as Korean ssireum, Mongolian wrestling, Thai muay thai and Turkish oil wrestling, compete in genuine matches.
On that day Jam Hong-gi PD said, "Looking back, I think I first met reporters in 2023. I said I would work hard so it could be made in other countries and shared across other continents, so I am proud to be able to present it like this, and I think it is thanks to the strong support we received."
Having expanded from the individual competition Physical: 100 to the national team competition Physical: Asia to offer a different charm, is there a reason you must watch Physical: Asia? Jam Hong-gi PD said, "I think Netflix viewers want content they can see only on Netflix. In that respect, Physical: Asia is a new form of Olympic-style content that can be seen only on Netflix and in the Physical series. Legend athletes from eight countries gave their best, and viewers can look forward to what those people will do, and there are many characters we haven't seen in Korean content, so please look forward to that as well."
Meanwhile, the national team physical war Physical: Asia episodes 1-4 will be released worldwide on Netflix on Oct. 28 (Tue) at 4 p.m. Episodes 5-6 will follow on Nov. 4 (Tue) at 5:00 p.m., episodes 7-9 on Nov. 11 (Tue) at 5:00 p.m., and episodes 10-12 on Nov. 18 (Tue) at 5:00 p.m.
