PENTACLE, which won the silver prize at the university song festival, has announced the upcoming release of their first digital single "Shame."
The teaser video released on the 23rd included 30 seconds of performance scenes in which PENTACLE members personally participated in the playing and singing. Although short, the intense video fully captures PENTACLE's distinctive sensibility and solid level of completion, raising public expectations for the new song.
Above all, the teaser lifted the veil on the first digital single "Shame." The playing and performance leave a deep aftertaste even within the short running time. Viewers responded that the members' perfect coordination completed PENTACLE's distinctive dynamic charm.
In particular, vocalist Park Eun-hye's unwavering, precise high notes and explosive tone make it impossible to take one's eyes and ears off the performance the moment they see and hear it. Even the slightly revealed chorus elicits public admiration and piques curiosity about the full version.
At the end of the video, the new song title "Shame" appears along with the phrase "Oct. 28 12 p.m. release," unexpectedly announcing the release of the first digital single "Shame" and further heightening public anticipation.
PENTACLE won the silver prize last year at TV CHOSUN's university song festival, and the stage video of Kim Soo-chul's "A Flower That Could Not Fully Bloom," which was their first-round competition song, surpassed 4.62 million views, attracting attention and focusing the public's interest on this new song as well.
Meanwhile, PENTACLE will release their first digital single "Shame" through various online platforms on Oct. 28.
