Former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin established a new agency, "OOAK," one year after leaving.
On the 24th, the industry said former CEO Min Hee-jin completed the corporate registration for OOAK Co., Ltd. (ooak) on the 16th.
The company's business purposes are artist management agency services, music production·record production·music and record distribution, performance and event planning and production, which are the same as the typical business purposes of an entertainment agency. OOAK's location is near Garosu-gil in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul, and a building is currently under construction.
Former CEO Min Hee-jin was dismissed from the board of ADOR, a label under HYBE, in November 2024. After appearing only at court hearings, former CEO Min Hee-jin's new move was reported about a year later.
Meanwhile, former CEO Min Hee-jin is proceeding with litigation over termination of the shareholder agreement with HYBE and a put option. NewJeans members are also continuing lawsuits related to exclusive contracts with ADOR, and a first-instance ruling is set for the 30th.
