Singer Nabi surprised fans by announcing she is pregnant with her second child.
On the 24th, Nabi and comedian Kim In-seok appeared as guests on MBC FM4U's Two O'Clock Date with Ahn Young-mi and talked.
That day, when asked whether she had experienced emotional changes since autumn, Nabi said, "I really like autumn, but these days it feels like my hormones have suddenly changed. I'm sensitive."
Hearing this, Ahn Young-mi previewed, "Today Nabi has a major announcement," and Nabi announced, "There is a second child growing healthily in my womb." Ahn Young-mi shared the behind-the-scenes story, "We were able to announce it because the stable period started last week, and we asked to do it on Two O'Clock Date."
Later, Nabi posted a video on her personal social media saying, "Everyone, I'm pregnant with my second child." Nabi said, "As a working mom, I raised the energetic Ijun and agonized over a second child for years. I thought if I didn't even try I would regret it later, so I decided to go for it! And thankfully, it happened at once! Our baby who found us."
Nabi said, "I had fears, but now I'm so happy. Above all, I'm very relieved that the worry about a second child is over haha," and added, "My husband and I are going to be parents of two children, which is exciting and nerve‑wracking, but we'll prepare well."
She added, "I am currently 13 weeks pregnant, and the birth will be in April next year. The baby nickname is "Berry." Will our Berry be a girl? Or a boy?"
Meanwhile, Nabi married a non-celebrity man one year her senior in 2019 and gave birth to her first son in 2021.
