The group NMIXX topped Melon's daily chart with the new song "Blue Valentine."
NMIXX released their first full-length album "Blue Valentine" and the title track of the same name on Oct. 13. The new song entered Melon's daily chart at No. 85 on the 13th and steadily climbed, and as of the 22nd it reached the top of that chart for the first time since their debut, boasting a rising popularity.
The new song reached No. 1 on Melon's top 100 at 11 p.m. on the 20th and has remained at the top of that chart since the afternoon of the 21st, and it also held No. 1 on Bugs' daily chart for four consecutive days from the 19th through the 22nd. It ranked No. 1 on major domestic music charts and album aggregation sites, including Melon Hot 100 (30th), Hot 100 (100th), Bugs real-time chart, FLO chart, and Circle Chart's week 42 download chart (Oct. 12–18), showcasing its streaming power.
They proved their popularity on music shows as well. With a solid live performance that drew attention, NMIXX took first place with "Blue Valentine" on MBC M's Show! Champion on the 22nd. They raised the trophy on Mnet's M Countdown on the 23rd as well, achieving a double crown on music shows, and conveyed their joy, saying, "These days I am really living a day that feels like a dream. Thank you for all the love, and we want to share this honor with NSWER (fan club name). Thank you!"
The title track from NMIXX's first full-length album, which showcases the group's multifaceted abilities, has received praise with nicknames such as "autumn carol," "NMIXX-style music box" and "a must-hear song for all seasons." As the song's mood is wistful yet sweet, NMIXX, beloved by fans at home and abroad, shines with the long-running popularity of their first full-length album.
They will open their debut world tour at Incheon Inspire Arena on Nov. 29 and 30
