Comedian Im Lala is experiencing repeated recoveries and crises during her twin pregnancy and childbirth. Just after obtaining precious twin siblings through in vitro fertilization, she was hospitalized in the intensive care unit due to bleeding and is continuing a difficult journey.
Im Lala's husband, comedian Son Minsu, posted on social media on the 23rd, "Lala had sudden heavy bleeding so we came to the emergency room and she was admitted to the intensive care unit."
Son Minsu added, "She must be scared being alone, but I can't be by her side and there's nothing I can do. Please pray that Lala recovers healthily," and said, "Because she is in the intensive care unit even a guardian cannot stay with her and we are waiting, so the only thing we can do is pray. They said only one visit will be allowed tomorrow, so please pray that Lala recovers healthily then," conveying the current situation.
The news of Im Lala's admission to the intensive care unit worried many fans. Im Lala had given birth to twin siblings on the 14th. Even before childbirth she suffered from pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy that spread over her body, visited the emergency room, endured pain and ultimately delivered the two children safely by cesarean section. However, Im Lala experienced heavy bleeding immediately after delivery and was focused on recovery, and also received phototherapy for the pruritic condition.
By Im Lala's side after the twin birth was her devoted husband, Son Minsu. Son Minsu carefully tended to Im Lala and shared in the joy of welcoming the twins. He worried about Im Lala's postpartum chills, which left her unable to even wear socks because of the pruritic condition, and a photo was shared showing him falling asleep holding his wife's foot while giving her a foot massage.
From the tests and procedures to the twin pregnancy and childbirth, he was a considerate husband doing his best to care for his wife through difficult times. He also stayed by his suddenly hospitalized wife's side and prayed.
Later, on the 23rd Son Minsu posted, "Lala received a blood transfusion and is currently recovering. Because many people were worried I am urgently sharing this news. I sincerely thank everyone who prayed and cheered with us," relaying Im Lala's recovery news.
Son Minsu and Im Lala married in May last year after nine years of dating. They later welcomed twin siblings through tests and procedures and received many congratulations.
