The group DreamNote is disbanding after failing to endure the so-called seven-year mark.
Idea Music Entertainment Korea said on the 22nd via DreamNote's official social media channels, "After sufficient discussion based on mutual trust and respect, DreamNote and Idea Music Entertainment Korea have decided to terminate the exclusive contract as of Nov. 7, 2025."
It continued, "Since their debut, DreamNote has conveyed bright and positive energy through their music and performances and continued various activities. Throughout that journey, the love and support pages have shown has always been a great strength," adding, "We deeply thank the members for the passion and effort they showed during our time together, and we sincerely support their new beginnings as they continue in their respective places."
DreamNote's side said, "Although they will now walk at a slightly different pace and on different paths, we hope the time spent together will remain warm memories for all of us for a long time," and urged, "Please continue to warmly support the members' new steps."
The agency also arranged a time for DreamNote and fans to say their final goodbyes. DreamNote's side said, "To leave a short but heartfelt moment, DreamNote members have prepared a meaningful occasion to be with pages."
DreamNote will meet fans on Nov. 9 at the Esplex Center multipurpose hall in Sangam, Seoul.
DreamNote debuted on Nov. 7, 2018, with the single 'Dreamlike' and carried out various activities, but there were no notable activities after releasing 'Joyful Green' in October last year.
