HYBE global group &TEAM (앤팀) has heralded the birth of a masterpiece in which not a single track can be skipped.
&TEAM on the 22nd released a Highlight medley of their Korean mini album 1st 'Back to Life' on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel. The video contains snippets of six tracks and the diverse charms of AHOF members within three version concepts—'BREATH(숨)', 'GAZE(응시)' and 'ROAR(포효)'.
The medley opens with 'Lunatic', which blends a funky hip-hop beat with a buoyant melody. The following 'MISMATCH' is an R&B track with retro sensibilities, a love song layered over warm pop sounds.
'Rush' is notable for its powerful vocals and energetic progression. 'Heartbreak Time Machine' is a rock ballad that leaves a deep resonance. The delicate melody and sincere lyrics of 'Who am I' also penetrate listeners' hearts.
The video finale is graced by the title track 'Back to Life.' It is a song with a rough, intense rock-hip-hop sound that captivates the ear. The determination and positive energy of AHOF members running toward a bigger world erupt. &TEAM's expanded musical spectrum and growth narrative are concentrated, raising fans' expectations.
&TEAM's Korean mini album 1st 'Back to Life' will be released on Oct. 28. Ahead of that, the album's title track and music video with the same name will be pre-released at 6 p.m. on the 27th, one day before the album release.
YX Labels, the agency, called 'Back to Life' "an album that consolidates &TEAM's capabilities after their remarkable growth since debuting in Japan in 2022," and asked fans to "watch their new leap unfold on the K-pop main stage."
