Singer Ailee, 36, spoke about the difficulties she is facing while preparing for a second child.
On the 22nd, a video titled "Hoping for a miracle to come… starting management for the best physical condition" was posted on the YouTube channel "Illine Wedding Diary."
In the video description, Ailee said, "Recently, as I have been preparing for pregnancy, there have been many changes in my daily life. It's a process that's not as easy as I thought, so I have a lot of worries, but I'm getting through it well by exercising steadily every day and managing my diet. I'm still hoping for a natural pregnancy, but if necessary, I may also need to prepare for in vitro fertilization."
Her husband, Choi Si-hoon, who had been dieting while managing his meals, cautiously began, saying, "A baby really didn't come as easily as we thought. Since both my wife and I are young and healthy, we thought it would happen right away if we put our minds to it."
He went on, "We're making one last attempt at a natural pregnancy this month. We'll try, and if it doesn't work this month, we're also thinking about in vitro fertilization. These days my wife is watching a lot of videos about pregnancy planning. She was crying earlier while watching them."
Ailee said, "Watching videos of people who, like me, are having difficulty conceiving naturally made me relate so much. I was just thinking about it, and now I'm tearing up again," and added, "Since debuting, I haven't really taken a proper break. I started to wonder if I pushed myself too hard with work. I'm upset, and I feel sorry to my husband," shedding tears.
In response, Choi Si-hoon comforted Ailee, saying, "Why be sorry? There's nothing to be sorry to me about. If we work on it together, we can overcome everything. Now I can take care of your health by your side, can't I?"
