[OSEN=Reporter Seon Mi-kyung Singer Byul revealed her husband Haha's affectionate side.
Byul shared scenes from her birthday on the afternoon of the 23rd by posting several photos on her social media.
First, Byul wrote, "I guess I've really become an old grump. I said let's skip birthday parties, blowing out cake candles and all that because it's annoying and I'm tired (seriously). With so many people in the family, it's hard to celebrate every birthday, so couldn't I at least have it easy? I wanted it to pass quietly. A delicious family dinner at the neighborhood grilled fish restaurant in the evening was more than enough for me! (No cooking, how great)"
She added, "The side dishes were so tasty that I scooped up three bowls of scorched rice and became too full. To help with digestion my husband suggested a walk, so we went toward Mangwon by the Han River and stopped at a hidden sentimental spot. I thought we were doomed when he ordered dessert after saying we were going out to digest, but in that short moment I received a surprise birthday celebration."
Byul continued, "Ah Ha Dong-hoon. He's so slyly thoughtful, really. I didn't notice at all. My husband who dislikes cheesy events made me laugh with a short but impactful surprise! Thank you," expressing her affection and gratitude for her husband Haha.
The released photos and videos showed Byul happily smiling and holding a cake with lit candles. Haha stood beside her making a finger heart to show his affection, and Byul closed her eyes and beamed.
The accompanying video showed Haha preparing a surprise event for Byul. He placed a small cake in front of her and lit a heart-shaped candle to celebrate her birthday. Byul was happy with the small but surprising event. Byul publicly revealed Haha's affectionate side and praised her husband's thoughtfulness.
Byul and Haha married in 2012 and have two sons and a daughter.
