JYP Entertainment boy band NEXZ released the first teaser for the music video of their new song "Beat-Boxer".
NEXZ (Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Huey, Yuki) will release their mini album 3 "Beat-Boxer" and the title track of the same name on the 27th. Ahead of that, on the afternoon of the 22nd they premiered the title track "Beat-Boxer" music video teaser on their official social media channels, drawing the attention of global music fans.
The video opens with a heartbeat-like, pulsating beat as three different groups of NEXZ appear. They exude a mysterious presence on stage, show a boxer side delivering bold punches in the ring, and roam freely through a school expressing their individuality. Powerful performances that boast perfect synergy raise the energy, making viewers eager to see what kind of story NEXZ's diverse charms will unfold over the beat.
The title track "Beat-Boxer" is an edgy, exciting-sounding song that combines the words "Beat" and "Boxer" to offer a thrilling experience through NEXZ's music and performance, expressing confidence that they will smash the beat on stage. In particular, Tomoya, Yuu and Haru directly participated in creating the new song's choreography, showcasing the group's strengths and individuality with movements that reveal their potential as a "performance-focused group."
Ahead of their comeback, NEXZ has been attracting attention toward the new release with diverse content, including a music video for a B-side track, character teasers and "BEAT-LAB," in which they transform into researchers in the beat universe. Their mini album 3 "Beat-Boxer," which will give fans plenty to look forward to including their first solo domestic concert since debut, NEXZ SPECIAL CONCERT "ONE BEAT," held Oct. 25-26, will be released on Oct. 27 at 6 p.m.
