Actor Kim Min-jae and his wife Choi Yoo-ra explained why they have lived apart for 10 years.

Earlier, after the previous episode ended, a preview showed Kim Min-jae rushing around Seoul meeting professors at Korea National University of Arts while Choi Yoo-ra was shown in Jeju living a "pro side‑hustler" life, from café owner to after‑school teacher, attracting attention. The two, appearing as the new Gakjib Couple that day, revealed the daily life of a couple in their 10th year of marriage, spending their 10th year apart in Gimpo and Jeju.
Choi Yoo-ra said, "I have been in Jeju the whole time, raising the child and running the business, so my husband goes back and forth. He has also returned to acting and is doing that," explaining the reason for their separate‑household life.
She added, "At night or at times like this I feel empty," and Kim Min-jae said, "Being alone is always hard. I wish I could spend more time with my wife. I want to spend more time with family. I don't like living apart," which evoked sympathy.
