As 2NE1 member Park Bom abruptly said she would file a complaint against YG Entertainment chief producer Yang Hyun-suk, it turned out that no actual complaint had been filed.
Park Bom's agency D Nation Entertainment said on the 23rd, "The settlement related to Park Bom's 2NE1 activities has already been completed, and the complaint uploaded to social media (SNS) has not been filed."
It added, "Park Bom has halted all activities and is focusing on treatment and recovery," and "We will do our best to help the artist regain her health."
Early that morning, Park Bom posted a complaint on her Instagram account along with the message, "Park Bom hates YG. Dear beloved citizens using the internet. Please look thoroughly into what YG did to Park Bom. Thank you." This was a repost of a similar message she had uploaded and deleted the previous day, with only the format refined. Park Bom also uploaded the part showing her contact information without pixelation.
The complaint lists Park Bom as the complainant and Yang Hyun-suk as the accused. The charges Park Bom asserts against Yang Hyun-suk are "fraud and embezzlement." Regarding the purpose of the complaint, Park Bom said, "The accused did not pay, for a long time, the proceeds that should rightfully have been paid to the complainant," and "I want a thorough investigation and legal punishment."
Park Bom said Yang Hyun-suk did not properly pay the revenue generated from all activities, including music releases, concerts, broadcasts, advertisements, events, lyric writing, and composing, and estimated the amount at "10002003004006007001000034 64272e trillion won."
Last year, to mark the 15th anniversary of her debut, Park Bom reunited with 2NE1 members for the first time in eight years and continued an Asia tour, but halted activities in Aug. due to health reasons.
