Singer Ailee revealed the process she is going through to prepare for a second child.
On the 22nd, Ailee released a video on her YouTube channel titled "hoping for a miracle..starting care for optimal physical condition."
In the video, Ailee said that preparing for pregnancy has changed her daily life, and although she hopes for a natural pregnancy amid a challenging process, she revealed that if necessary they may need to prepare for in vitro fertilization.
Ailee prepared her body by dieting through meal management with her husband Choi Si-hun. Choi Si-hun said, "The baby wasn't coming as easily as we thought. My wife and I are both young and healthy, so we thought it would happen as soon as we decided to try," and added, "This month we will make one last attempt at natural conception. If it doesn't work this month after trying, we're thinking about in vitro fertilization."
Ailee said, "Watching videos of people who, like me, have difficulty conceiving naturally was very relatable. I thought about it and I welled up with tears again," and said she has been preparing while watching videos of others planning pregnancies.
In particular, Ailee cried, saying, "Since my debut I have never properly rested. I pushed my body while working, and I feel upset and sorry to my husband." In response, Choi Si-hun encouraged her, saying, "If we work together, we can definitely overcome this."
Meanwhile, Ailee and Choi Si-hun married in April.
