The group VVUP successfully completed their first showcase.
VVUP (Kim, Pan, Suyeon, Jiyun) held a showcase on the 22nd at Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of the pre-release track "House Party" from their first mini album and met with fans. Not only offline, but VVUP decided to livestream online to be with more global fans, proving their attentive love for fans.
That day VVUP led fans' enthusiastic response with stages that hinted at their musical growth, from "Giddy Boy," which combines kitschy and hip charm, to "4 Life," which showcases the four members' soulful tones.
Especially since this was VVUP's first time holding a showcase since their debut, they added viewing enjoyment with substantial segments that allowed close communication with fans. VVUP introduced each member's MBTI, points that made them fall for the group, and bucket list items through "first-time profiles," and in the "behind keyword talk" they candidly and wittily shared episodes they experienced while preparing the new song.
VVUP also premiered the "House Party" stage for fans. Transformed perfectly into goblins, VVUP completed a vibrant stage with a dynamic shuffle dance that matched the addictive beat. Amid a full rebranding of music, performance and visuals, they signaled they would accelerate an all-around upswing with VVUP's irreplaceable charm, raising expectations.
After successfully completing their first showcase, VVUP said, "Thank you for coming to VVUP's special "House Party." From our debut until now, we have wanted to always express our gratitude for your unwavering support. We will work hard to become VVUP who can show great performances on more stages in the future."
On the 22nd VVUP pre-released the track "House Party" from their first mini album. "House Party" is an electronic track that harmonizes refined synth sounds with a lively house beat and captures a club mood drenched in cyber sensibility and neon light. It depicts a surreal party in a digital world where the boundary between virtual and reality has collapsed and everyone enjoys themselves wearing "filters." VVUP is praised for achieving another step of musical growth with a unique concept that trendily reinterprets Korean elements such as goblins in their own sensibility, encompassing tradition and modernity.
