Actor Kang Tae-oh and Kim Se-jeong will star together in MBC's new drama "Moon River," and the premiere date has been changed.
On the 23rd, a representative for MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "Moon River" (script by Jo Seung-hee / directed by Lee Dong-hyun / planning by Kwon Seong-chang / produced by Haijeum Studio) told OSEN, "The drama's premiere date was pushed back one week due to a baseball broadcast," announcing the change in the first broadcast date.
According to the MBC schedule, the premiere date for "Moon River" has been changed from the 31st to the 7th of next month. This is due to a change in the end date of the currently airing drama "To the Moon." "To the Moon" had originally been scheduled to end with its 12th episode on the 25th.
However, because the 2025 KBO postseason game Samsung vs. Hanwha on the 24th will be broadcast on MBC starting at 6:30 p.m., the broadcast on the 24th was canceled and episode 11 will air on the 25th. Accordingly, the final episode will air one week later on the 31st (Friday) at 9:40 p.m.
Because the end date of "To the Moon" changed, the premiere of the follow-up "Moon River" was also postponed. "Moon River," which has drawn attention for the meeting of Kang Tae-oh and Kim Se-jeong, will premiere on Nov. 7 at 9:50 p.m.
Meanwhile, "Moon River," which premieres on the 7th of next month, is a historical romance fantasy drama about a body-and-soul switch between a crown prince who has lost his laughter and a vice minister of the court who has lost his memory, described as an empathy-through-exchange (易地四肢) romance.
