Broadcaster Jang Yeong-ran revealed for the first time luxury H-brand clothes she purchased herself.
On the 22nd, a video titled "Jang Yeong-ran's entire luxury wardrobe revealed — it's jaw-dropping (luxury gifts from subscribers)" was posted on the YouTube channel "A-grade Jang Yeong-ran."
That day Jang Yeong-ran said, "I'll reveal three luxury items I still haven't worn. I brought them trembling," as she showed three H-brand garments.
First, about the cardigan she said, "It's an extremely, extremely expensive cardigan. I thought, 'Oh my, shall I take a look,' and they said it would suit Yeong-ran and brought a bunch out from the storage," adding, "They said it was a cardigan you could wear anywhere, but it wasn't casual at all. They said this one alone costs several hundred (thousand/won)," saying she lost the power struggle.
She added, "They said it's all silk. I was worried the clothes might be shown publicly. But I mustered the courage to wear this one twice. The important thing was people said it makes me look older."
Jang Yeong-ran also explained that the second jacket was being kept aside, saying, "They said it can be worn in winter. It's more expensive than the cardigan. But it feels more burdensome. I wore this only once. I just don't reach for it. The thought that it's expensive stops me."
The long-awaited third item was a long vest. Jang Yeong-ran recalled, "This is the most expensive. Many people say when it comes to H-brand, you must buy this. They said it's sold out," and said a staff member brought it from deep in the storage.
She said she too admired it because it looked so pretty. Jang Yeong-ran confessed, "The important thing is I've never worn it. This is a secret between us. I bought it for XXX won," which was then pixelated, drawing attention.
When the production staff were surprised, Jang Yeong-ran said, "I really paid an outrageous amount. My mother and father must not see this."
The staff asked how much would be needed to buy a Kelly bag. Jang Yeong-ran said, "There wasn't a unit, but I actually hesitated. This is pretty and that is pretty, and I said, 'Honey, should I buy this one?' and my husband said, 'Fine, buy all three.' I don't know if he was angry or trying to look impressive," saying she bought the three types of clothes that way.
She added, "I don't think I'll buy any more H-brand clothes. I think I'll pass these down for generations."
