Entertainer Shin Dong-yeop (54)'s daughter has been accepted to the Korea National University of Arts (K-ARTS) School of Dance as a ballet major.
Recently, the ballet academy that Shin Dong-yeop's daughter, Ji-hyo, attended posted on its social media (SNS) account, saying, "Ji-hyo delivered the happy news of being accepted to the Korea National University of Arts School of Dance, and from the preschool class at age 5 to taking the college entrance exam now, she has grown together with her teachers all along."
Earlier, Shin Dong-yeop and producer Sun Hye-yoon also shared the news of their daughter's college acceptance via YouTube and SNS, respectively.
On the 5th, on the YouTube channel "Zzanbro Shin Dong-yeop," Shin, while chatting with guest Shin Seung-hun, expressed his nerves, saying, "Today is the day my daughter's college results come out."
After receiving his cell phone back from his manager, Shin confirmed his daughter's acceptance and let out a relieved smile, and Shin Seung-hun also offered congratulations to Shin.
Producer Sun also noted last month via the social networking service (SNS) account she runs for her dog, Cream, "Mom has been really busy, right? With your sister's college acceptance, I've got a bit more time now, so I'll try to post Cream updates a little more often."
Shin Dong-yeop married producer Sun Hye-yoon in 2006, and they have one son and one daughter.
Ji-hyo graduated from Sunhwa Arts Middle School and Sunhwa Arts High School. In a 2023 broadcast, Shin said, "When she was young, we started her in ballet as a hobby, and she ended up getting into high school with it," adding, "Because she enjoys it, we're letting her continue."
