Group BLACKPINK member JISOO charted on Billboard's main chart the Hot 100 with "EYES CLOSED."
JISOO's new single "EYES CLOSED(아이즈 클로즈드)" ranked No. 72 on the Hot 100, Billboard's main singles chart in the U.S., released on the 21st.
It also reached No. 20 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 10 on the Global (Excluding U.S.) chart, respectively, proving JISOO's global commercial power.
"EYES CLOSED" is JISOO's new single released on the 10th, featuring ZAYN, the pop star and former member of British boy band One Direction. The single and music video capture the attractive tones and visual chemistry of JISOO and ZAYN, receiving strong responses from global music fans.
Shortly after its release, "EYES CLOSED" topped YouTube Music worldwide trending in 74 countries, reached No. 21 on Spotify's Top Songs Global, charted on daily top song charts in 32 countries, was No. 1 on iTunes' top singles chart in 40 countries, and topped China's QQ Music and KuGou daily selling singles charts, among other global chart successes.
In particular, on Spotify JISOO set another record as the fastest female solo artist from Korea to reach a combined 1 billion streams across all released songs (solo).
