BLACKPINK heated up the night in Kaohsiung and successfully opened the curtain on their Asia tour.
BLACKPINK held 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR 'DEADLINE' IN KAOHSIUNG' at Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taiwan on the 18th and 19th. With this, they became the first K-pop group to enter the stadium twice, following the 2023 [BORN PINK] tour.
Interest was explosive, as it was their first local visit in about two years. In fact, the show sold out both performances with presale tickets alone, drawing more than 100,000 spectators and highlighting BLACKPINK's overwhelming global popularity.
Appearing to enthusiastic cheers, BLACKPINK opened spectacularly with 'Kill This Love' and 'Pink Venom,' radiating an unmistakable aura. Fans responded to the intense live performances of 'How You Like That,' '불장난,' and 'Shut Down' with mass singing and shouts that filled the stadium.
In particular, the four members Jisoo, Lisa, Jennie and Rosé raised the audience's heart rates with solo stages featuring a set list different from previous performances. They delivered thrilling moments at every turn, showcasing each member's irreplaceable musical colors—from powerful hip-hop to delicate pop and charismatic performances.
BLACKPINK and the audience became one, turning the venue into a massive festival where everyone made another unforgettable memory. The members said they were moved by the loud cheers and passion in Kaohsiung and thanked fans, saying it was truly a dreamlike time because everyone filled this beautiful stadium.
After successfully completing the Kaohsiung shows, BLACKPINK will officially embark on their Asia tour across seven cities and 18 performances. They will move on to Bangkok's Rajamangala National Stadium on the 24th, then hold shows in Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong and other locations to connect with more fans.
BLACKPINK recently began shooting a music video for a new song and are busy preparing for a full-group comeback. YG Entertainment said the members and staff will do their best through the remaining schedule to show the best results, and that the album is in its final stages to raise musical completeness, promising to share good news as soon as preparations are finished.
