Actor Choi Yeon-cheong lost 26kg five months after giving birth and will debut in a girl group.
On the 22nd, Choi Yeon-cheong wrote on her social media account, "I will be debuting as a duo group called "Lily" with Dal Shabet leader Seri unnie to work hard on activities in Korea."
Choi Yeon-cheong said, "I gained 26kg during pregnancy and gave birth at 72kg. Even before having the child, Seri unnie and I had talked about a duet, but after becoming pregnant and giving birth, the reflection in the mirror was in a state where I absolutely could not go out in front of the public."
She added, "Also, I am someone who is married and has a child, and I worried that I might cause harm to an unnie who is shining and doing activities so well. In response to that question, many people encouraged me, saying the only thing that is late is being a kids model and to try anything, and unnie also gladly said she could do it and gave me courage, so I did my best."
Choi Yeon-cheong said, "I dieted like mad and succeeded in losing 26kg, and I am practicing while looking forward to the debut day along with the music release on Nov. 1. As something I really want to keep has emerged, I prepared hard, so please support us a lot."
