The group VVUP said their comeback after rebranding felt "like the moment of being born."
VVUP (Kim, Fan, Suyeon, Jiyoon) held a showcase to commemorate the release of the pre-release track "House Party" from their first mini album on the 22nd at 2 p.m. at Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
Through "House Party," VVUP will show a different side from before by rebranding across all areas including music, performance, and visuals. Leading with a unique concept, they are announcing the beginning of a new narrative with the first mini album to be released next month following "House Party."
Suyeon said, "Because this is the first time we are showing a new, rebranded look different from before, I'm curious how people will view it," expressing nervous excitement.
Kim added, "I'm so happy right now. I wanted to show fans the new song quickly, and I waited for today because I was curious how they would react to our rebranded image," and asked, "Please look forward to it because we worked hard on this song."
Jiyoon said, "This is the first time since debut that we're holding a media showcase, and I'm so nervous and awed that I wonder if this is how I felt when I was born. I'm so happy to share this special moment with the members," drawing attention. Finally, Fan said, "It's our first showcase so I'm really nervous and happy," sharing her comeback feelings.
Suyeon introduced the new song, saying, "'House Party' is the song that opens the door to the first mini album to be released in November. It contains the message of throwing away fake filters and enjoying the party as my true self."
VVUP's new song "House Party" will be released today (the 22nd) at 6 p.m.
