Actor Lee Shin-young will visit Taiwan for two days on Oct. 24 and 25 to meet local fans in person, marking the Sept. 10 release of the film "Jeonryeokjilju". A variety of events are planned, including a premiere greeting, two GVs, and a press screening, which are expected to heat up the local scene.
"Jeonryeokjilju" is scheduled to open in 35 to 40 theaters across Taiwan, reflecting strong local anticipation and proving Lee Shin-young's influence, who has been steadily gaining popularity across Asia.
"Jeonryeokjilju" is a running drama that tells the story of youth Kang Seung-yeol (played by Lee Shin-young), a former soccer club member who rediscovers the meaning and passion of life through running. It already drew attention after its overseas distribution rights were presold at the Busan International Film Festival ACFM, and its sale in the United States through the film market confirmed its potential on the global stage.
During this visit to Taiwan, Lee Shin-young will interact closely with fans through a variety of programs, including a press conference, stage greetings, audience talks (GV), and a photocall. He is expected to take group photos with local audiences and share final goodbyes, creating a meaningful time.
Meanwhile, Lee Shin-young will take on the role of the deposed prince "Lee Un" in the MBC new Friday-Saturday drama Moon River, which will premiere on Oct. 31 (Fri), challenging the romance-fantasy historical genre and drawing high expectations even before broadcast. He will also play the lead role of "Ru," a member of a killer organization, in director Park Hoon-jung's film "Sad Tropics," showcasing weighty, powerful acting beyond his youthful image.<
